“alola-candraka-lasad-vanamalya-vamsi-
ratnangadam pranaya-keli-kala-vilasam
syamam tri-bhanga-lalitam niyata-prakasam
govindam adi-purusham tam aham bhajami”

"I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, round whose neck is swinging a garland of flowers beautified with the moon-locket, whose two hands are adorned with the flute and jeweled ornaments, who always revels in pastimes of love, whose graceful threefold-bending form of Syamasundara is eternally manifest."

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness was established in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. ISKCON has since developed into a worldwide confederation of 10,000 temple devotees and 250,000 congregational devotees.
Better known as the Hare Krishna movement, ISKCON is comprised of more than 350 centers, 60 rural communities, 50 schools and 60 restaurants worldwide.
The mission of this nonsectarian, monotheistic movement is to promote the well being of society by teaching the science of Krishna consciousness according to Bhagavad-gita and other ancient scriptures.

Wedding Services/Mandap Rental

There are many samskaras, or religious ceremonies, during our lifetime. These are all described in the scriptures of Sanatan-Dharma. The Wedding, or Vivaha, is the most important one.
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness started to perform these religious ceremonies more than 30 years ago, with more than 400 weddings taking place every year around the world, and the Radha Govinda Mandir has become a very popular location to celebrate weddings! The building and grounds are spacious and beautiful and the temple room is already a sacred place - the residence of their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Govinda, Gaura Nitai, Jaganatha, Baladeva and Subhadra.
We now provide a full and comprehensive service with vidhis and sanskrit slokas plus commentary in English conducted as an integral part of the religious ceremony. Catering services can be provided too - a full thali of different preparations of Krishna Prasada for up to 300 guests - all within the premises.
Couples, members of the family, and guests alike have expressed their satisfaction of being part of a unique and transcendental religious experience that has left a profound impact on their lives.
