Temple Terms & conditions:
We now have a Mandir to be very proud of and it is important that we all take responsibility to follow and ensure others kindly adhere to the rules:1. Modest and respectable attire should be worn, particularly in the presence of the deities
2. Devotees should avoid entering the Mandir during the period of 'Sutak' following family bereavements and births. Other restrictions of ritual impurity should similarly be followed.
3. No illegal drugs, alcohol and tobacco, should be brought or consumed. Smoking is therefore not permitted across the whole site.
4. Meat, fish and eggs and even onion & garlic are strictly prohibited.. This rule also applies to private functions in the community hall.
5. Silence should be maintained in the Mandir and mobile phones should be switched off or turned to silent during pooja & arti.
6. The deities (Murties) are living divinities so photography inside the Mandir is strictly prohibited.
7. Before entering Mandir shoes should be removed.
8. Money should be placed in allocated donation boxes and not placed in the shrine area.
9. Contributions of flowers and tulasi leaves are very welcome. However dyed flowers should not be offered as they can contain animal based products.
10. No loose oil or ghee to be taken into Mandir
11. Please help to keep the Mandir clean at all times
For everyones safety, all visitors aged 17 or under must be accompanied by an adult at all times, otherwise entry may be refused.
12. As a humble request to all when you offer milk to shivlingam please dilute with water first and ensure the tap has been properly closed when finished (including the taps present on Temple grounds).
13. Please do not touch the deities, respecting Temple properties at all times.
14. Please note that the Temple is not responsible for any parked cars, including those on the premise.
(PLEASE NOTE: The management reserves the right to refuse admission to those who do not follow the guidelines and to those who may be inappropriately dressed.)
