In April the Center holds the Spring Festival and around the September the Festival of India. This year Festival of India is celebrating the 31st anniversary on September 29th and 30th. For more information on the Festival of India, visit the festivalofindia.org.
The community hall is available for personal use to the members for a nominal donation and you may call (804) 346-9954 for reservation. See rental information for more details.
The Hindu Center also offers cultural, language, yoga, and religious classes to the Richmond Community starting from age 5 and above. Please click on classes tab to see more details.
Cultural events in the HCV community hall are conducted by the HCV

Library
Library is open Sundays 1 - 2 PM all through the year.Library use is free of charge for members. Non-members charge is $25 per family per year. Library has a good collection of books for children, youth and adults on various topics related to India, Hindu religion and Culture.

Devotees can sponsor individual bricks or entire pillars on
the PARIKRAMA wall to be built around our temple. Your name(up to 27 letters) can
be engraved on each brick. A brick is now available for viewing at the temple
front desk.

Your Hindu
Center is run by
volunteers. By volunteering your time and effort you can make a difference in
the Hindu Center. Volunteer services are needed in
organizing the religious activities (puja or garlands) or non religious
activities such as preparing meals at dining hall on weekends or special events

From I-95 (North or South) take I 295 towards Charlottesville, take the US 33 East Exit (towards Richmond). At the first traffic light, make a right turn onto Springfield Road. The Hindu Center is on the left within about a quarter of a mile at 6051 Springfield Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Phone: (804) 346 9954.
