HTCS Educational Activities
The HTCS Educational activities include regularly scheduled classes in various Indian languages, Hinduism and religious studies. The classes are conducted in the rooms located in the main building of the Temple. Other activities includes a week long summer camp, occasional seminars, the annual Vidyalaya Day etc.
All the classes are offered free of charge. The teachers volunteer their time, most of them doing so for the past several years. If you are interested in teaching or helping with any of the above activities, please contact us.
The HTCS Educational Committee is responsible for overseeing the Temple's language and religious classes, the annual summer camp for youth as well as other related activities. It recruits teachers and provides support, space and supplies for all classes.

Religious Classes

The religious classes provide children with exposure to our religion and culture. Using these classes as means, our goal is to instill in children a sense of belongings and a yearning understand the explicit andimplicit messages provided through our religion and traditional beliefs. The classes include Prayers/Slokas, Bhajans, Yoga and Art/Craft related to our culture and beliefs.

Based on sufficient interest from the community, we also conduct classes for adults.  Please contact the HTCS Education if interested.
