Shree Hindu Community Centre is an independent community organisation providing services to the Hindu community in Birmingham and the residents in the local wards.

Who are we?

Shree Hindu Community Centre is a registered charity based in South Birmingham. We cater for the needs of the local Hindu community, and also provide essential services to the local community.

Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir
Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir is an integral part of the Shree Hindu Community Centre. It is one of the most vibrant temples in the Midlands. Shree Laxmi Narayan temple celebrate all Hindu religious cultural festivals. The temple is open everyday. See temple details for opening times.

Anand Milan Kendra (AMK)
Anand Milan Kendra is a part of Shree Hindu Community Centre, and provides the day centre facilities for the elderly in the local area. AMK meets twice a week to provide social, cultural and support forum for the elderly.

Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir, located on the first floor of the Mandir Hall, welcomes all worshippers and visitors alike. The Mandir celebrated all Hindu religious events. Together with our resident pujari, Chandrakantbhai Bhatt, the Mandir is very well equipped to provide all religious services.

Hanuman Chalisa
As of July 2013, there will be Hanuman Chalisa recited in the Mandir, every Saturday between 19:30 & 20:30.

Shree Krishna Janmashtami
Wednesday 28th August 2013, between 18:30 & 21:30.
