Mostly she is worshipped at the Navratri festival. Nandni Mata appears in several Vedic hymns and is also described in the eleventh chapter of the book Durga Saptmi. The hymn also associates her with Yashoda’s daughter.

Nathdwara Temple, Rajasthan

Nathdwara is a town in Rajasthan state of western India. It is located in the Aravalli hills,  on the banks of the Banas River in Rajsamand District, 48 kilometres north-east of Udaipur.  This town is famous for its temple of Krishna which houses the idol of Shrinathji, a 14th century, 7-year old "infant"  incarnation of Krishna. The idol was originally worshipped at Mathura  and was shifted in the 1672 from Govardhan hill, near Mathura along holy river Yamuna after being retained at Agra for almost six months, in order to protect it from anti-Hindu fanatic iconoclastic Islamic policies of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb’s.  Literally, Nathdwara means ‘Gateway to Shrinathji’. Nathdwara is a significant Vaishnavite shrine pertaining to the Pushti Marg or the Vallabh Sampradaya or the Shuddha Advaita founded by Vallabha Acharya, revered mainly by people of Gujarat and Rajasthan,  among others. Vitthal Nathji, son of Vallabhacharya institutionalised the worship of Shrinathji at Nathdwara. Nathdwara town itself is popularly referred to as ‘Shrinathji’, after the presiding deity.

Shrinathji Temple

As per the religious myths, the shrine at Nathdwara was built in the 17th century at the spot as exactly ordained by Shrinathji himself The idol of the Lord Krishna was being transferred to a safer place from Vrindaban to protect it from the anti-Hindu, iconoclastic and barbarian destruction of the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. When the idol reached the spot at village Sihad or Sinhad, the wheels of bullock cart in which the idol was being transported sank axle-deep in mud and could not be moved any farther. The accompanying priests realised that the particular place was the Lord's chosen spot and accordingly, a temple was built there under the rule and protection of the then Maharana Raj Singh of Mewar. Shrinathji Temple is also known as 'Haveli of Shrinathji’ (mansion)

Panchayati Hall Temple, Rajasthan

Panchayati Hall is a Hindu temple devoted to the goddess Durga and Lord Shiva, located in Jaipur .

History
After Partition of India (1947), most of the Khudabadi Sindhi Swarankar families migrated from Pakistan and settled in Jaipur, India. In early 1948, Shri Jhamandas F. Purswani and Shri Tikamdas Bhojraj Purswani of Khudabadi Sindhi Swarankar came to know that there was a Nawab Moassam Ali Khan's stable for his horses, in Nawab Ki Haveli at Vidyadhar Ka Rasta (Jaipur). It was being used by a local who had started operating a small flour mill there; the Nawab fled to Pakistan, immediately after partition. Although, the whole property including the stable was taken over by then Deputy Custodian of Evacuee Property and the Nawab was declared "Evacuee", his relatives were harassing the mill operator. Shri Jhamandas Purswani and Shri Tikamdas Purswani contacted him, gave him 500 rupees (a laruge amount at that time) from their pockets and got possession of the premises.
They shifted the ten families from refugee camp to the stable. Afterward, they acquired the whole stable through the Department of Custodian Evacuees Properties to avoid any harassment. In 1950, the Department fixed the rent ranging from Rs. 0.25 to Rs. 1 per month, which the refugees started paying after obtaining the official receipt of the payments. The ground floor of the haveli was the stable, consisting of about thirty rooms of comfortable area and a huge open ground in the center. Steadily, Khudabadi Sonara families of weaker section started occupying the rooms one by one until all the rooms were in community possession.
All of a sudden, the whole property (including the stable) was released from the Department of Custodian Evacuee's possession in 1957-58, and the Nawab again became the full owner on the pretext that he had given his property to his adopted son, Abdul Kader, around 11 January 1961. Again, the refugee residents of the stable through the president of Puj Khudabadi Sonara Panchayat (Jaipur), Shri Manghoomal Kimatrai Ganvani and leaders of the community submitted their petition to the Minister, Relief and Rehabilitation on 7 January 1963 arguing that the whole property of the Nawab was gifted to Nawab Mumtaz Uddolah through a covenant of the Ruler of the erstwhile Jaipur State in lieu of his services rendered to the Ruler of erstwhile Jaipur for his residence only (this stable being part of this residence), and non-transferability was one of the pre-requisite conditions. The residents won the case and lived there peacefully since then.

Construction of Panchayati Hall

In the meantime, Shri Jhamandas Purswani, Shri Tikamdas Purswani and Shri Parmanand Menghraj Vasnani started thinking about the construction of a panchayati hall. In 1951, they started sending messages for this to the community members who were living in overseas. The response was very positive, but they had problems sending the funds due to foreign exchange restrictions and advised discussing the matter with their embassies in New Delhi. Shri Jhamandas Purswani went to New Delhi and approached the Sindhi leader Dr. Choithram Gidwani, who knew him very well since the days of freedom movements, in Hyderabad. Choithram solved the problem with the assistance of Ministry Of External Affairs of India. Khudabadi Sonara community members who were living overseas gave their contributions to Indian embassies in their countries and Shri Jhamandas Purswani collected the funds from the ministry. Three thousand rupees came from Indonesia and about 2,000 came from other countries. A small portion of the collection was used in construction of the Panchayati Hall and the temple of Goddess Durga at open ground of Navab Ki Haveli, Vidhyadhar Ka Rasta (Jaipur), where a deity of Lord Shiva was placed. The balance amount of collection was kept for helping widows and weaker section of the community.

Handing over of Panchayati Hall

Shri Jhamandas F. Purswani, Shri Tikamdas B. Purswani and Shri Parmanand Menghraj Vasnani handed over the Panchayati Hall and the Temple of Goddess Durga and Lord Shiva to Dr. Udharam Jhamandas Purswani, the president of Puj Khudabadi Sonara Panchayat, Jaipur for the activities of Puj Panchayat and other social functions. Earlier, Gursahib Jealal and (after his demise) his son Gursahib Devidas used to perform Navratra Jagran and Havan in the temple of Goddess Durga, in the Panchayati Hall. This Panchayati Hall and the temples are still in existence at Navab Ki Haveli, Vidhyadhar Ka Rasta, Jaipur. The Khudabadi Sonara community looks at the Panchayati Hall with reverence and respects it as a Hindu temple devoted to Goddess Durga and Lord Shiva. The Panchayati Hall is a Heritage and a Memorable Treasure of Khudabadi Sonara Community and Puj Khudabadi Sonara Panchayat (Reg.), Jaipur.

Punrasar Balaji, Rajasthan

'Punrasar Balaji is a very pious place for the devotees of Lord Shri Hanumanji.

Location

This Holy place is surrounded by the Sand Dunes is about 50 km from Bikaner city. Besides the main Temple, one ancient but original statue of Hanuman Ji with the old tree of "Khejdi"
Punrasar town is a part of district Bikaner in Rajasthan and it is situated on the Jaipur -Bikaner highway. It is at a distance of 72 kilometers from Bikaner(57 km Bikaner - Seruna), 60 kilometers from Shri Dungargarh (45 km Shri Dungargarh to Seruna), 15.00 km Seruna to Shri Punrasarji .
Shri Punrasar Balaji is an awaken Hanumanji place - Hanumanji Balaji has proven his might to his devotees, many times. Devotees throng to this seat of Shri Hanumanji Balaji throughout the year. This temple has a very ancient history.

History

Once a terrible famine had struck this area in the year 1774. During the famine period, people started fleeing from this land in search of food and wages. Like the others, Jairam Dass Bothra of Punrasar also went to Punjab, to bring the grain. When he was leaving from Punrasar with laden sacks on camel cart. His camel's leg suddenly got broken and the poor animal was unable to walk / push the cart. Jairam Dass convinced his colleagues to go back to the village and went to sleep. Suddenly he felt as if someone was calling him, when awake, he looked here and there but could not find any one. So he went to sleep again, but he then heard same sound. And again he could not find anyone. He was surprised. He remembered Lord Hanumanji and said with folded hands, Whoever is there please appear? Who are you? . Then Hanumanji appeared as chief monk (pandit)and said "hey devotee I know that you're in trouble, but as from now on all your troubles are solved". By saying this he pointed out to the Hanumanji statue lying under the khejri tree and asked jairam dass to take the statue with him and establish it in the village and then your all trouble will solved. Then jairam dass told the pandit (Hanumanji) that his camel's leg is broken so he can't move on. Then the monk said don't worry your camel is alright. Jairam was astonished to see that his camel was fine and ready to go, He took the Hanumanji's statue with him and established it under the khejri tree. From then on for so many years the family members of Jairam Dass Bothra are taking care of the temple. Bothras belong to the Jain community but here they are worshiping Shri balaji with all due respect and immense faith in the lord. As the balaji himself had directed Jairam Dass that he himself or his family member would take care of the deity, and not to take help of any one else.
Please remember that any kind of "prashad" that one gets from the temple or one has offered to Shri Punrasar Balaji has to be consumed within the periphery of the temple itself. Do not try to check the power of Shri Punrasarji by trying to take the prashad outside the place, it may lead to some untoward situation.
Though the temple is in a deliberate state as some legal issues are going on for some last 25 years but do visit the temple and attend the 'aarti'.
